Syria’s Autonomous Administration records 26 new coronavirus infections
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced the recording of 26 new coronavirus infections in its areas on Wednesday.
The official AANES Facebook account quotes Health Board co-chair Jiwan Mustafa, who stated that the new recorded infections were 16 men and 10 women.
In the Jazira region, the recorded infections were 11 in Hasakah, four in Deir ez-Zor, two in Derik, two in Girke Lege, and one in Tirbe Spiye.
In the Euphrates region, there were four cases in Tabqa, one in Raqqa, and one in Kobani.
No deaths or recoveries were recorded.
According to the new the statistics on new cases of coronavirus in the Autonomous Administration regions, the number of infections has risen to 8,516, including 296 deaths and 1,216 recoveries.
