SDF arrests ISIS member in Deir ez-Zor countryside
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in cooperation with the US-led Global Coalition arrested a member of the Islamic State organization (ISIS) in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, on Tuesday.
“The SDF Special Units and the Global Coalition arrested a member of ISIS sleeper cell in al-Tayyanah region, east Deir ez-Zor,” the SDF Coordination and Military Operations Center tweeted.
On Monday, the SDF managed to arrest an ISIS wanted member accused of terrorist operations in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
Military sources said that the arrest took place in the region of al-Ozbah, east Deir ez-Zor, with an air support by the Global Coalition.
