DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Residents of Hajin, east of Deir ez-Zor, found the body of a young man near on the banks of the Euphrates River on Monday night.
A local source from Hajin said that residents of Hajin town found the body of 40-year-old Saleh Issa at about ten o’clock Monday night.
The young man worked in agriculture and didn’t belong to any military group, the source added.
Recently, the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor has witnessed an increase in ISIS activity.
Hajin is one of the first cities that witnessed security stability after ISIS defeat.
In late December, two members of Internal Security Forces (Asayish) were killed due to a mine explosion in the city center.
