Material damage due to explosion in Syria’s Qamishli
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified persons threw a hand grenade at a car in the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria, on Saturday evening, causing material damage.
The explosion took place near Lazkin Aref fuel station, in Qamishli, without any casualties reported.
Residents of nearby buildings told North Press that two unidentified persons, who were riding a motorcycle, threw the grenade into the car and fled.
Pictures taken by North Press showed material damage to a Hyundai H-100 car that was parked in front of a fast food restaurant near the airport road.
The Internal Security Forces (Asayish), intervened and began to investigate the circumstances of the explosion, according to what was reported by security personnel.
