Turkish bombing causes power cut to Syria’s Tel Tamr

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, Turkish shelling in the countryside of Syria’s Tel Tamr, north of Hasakah, and the vicinity of the Russian base there, caused power cuts to the town.

A military source from the Tel Tamer Military Council told North Press that the Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition groups began bombing the villages of Derdara and Fakkah, north of Tel Tamr, at 4 A.M. on Wednesday.

The shelling continued with all kinds of heavy weapons along the Tel Tamr – Abu Rasin line, and targeted the power station and its towers in the town’s countryside, which caused power cuts, according to the source.

In the early morning, the bombing targeted the vicinity of the Russian base at the entrance to the town of Tel Tamr, and North Press obtained footage showing the bombing as two Russian helicopters flew over it.
