SDF arrests ISIS leader in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – TheSyrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested an Islamic State (ISIS) leader in the town of Hawaij, east of Deir ez-Zor, on Monday.

The leader Abdulrahman Hamid Khayer was the Emir of VBIED and IED manufacture during ISIS ruling period in Deir ez-Zor, a military source told North Press.

Khayer, who has been an active agent, was arrested in possession of explosives for making IEDs, the source added.  

Also on Sunday night, the SDF arrested three suspected ISIS members during a raid in the countryside of Shaddadi.
