Unknown drones target fuel burners in Syria’s north Bab

AZAZ, Syria (North Press) – Unknown drones targeted on Sunday evening, the Tarhin area, north of the city of Bab in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, where burners for refining oil are deployed, causing significant material damage in the area.

A local source told North Press that the drones targeted, with home-made portable bombs, burners in the industrial zone of the town of Tarhin which caused great material damage to the place.

No party has claimed responsibility for the attack, but it comes after two days of posters of the Islamic State (ISIS) threatening the return of security operations.

The Turkish army and its backed armed opposition groups have been running the city of Bab, 30 km away from the southern Turkish borders, since 2017.
