Casualties among Tahrir al-Sham due to attack in Syria’s Idlib
IDLIB (North Press) – A member of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) was killed and another was wounded on Sunday, due to attack by unknown individuals in the western countryside of Idlib, northwest Syria.
The firing took place on a security checkpoint of the HTS in Jisr al-Shughur region, west Idlib, local source told North Press.
The attack resulted in the killing of a member and the injury of another amid a security alert state among the HTS members in the area and on M4 Highway, the source added.
In a related context, a security investigator was killed on Saturday, in Jisr al-Shughur due to firing by unknown persons.
