TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – The town of Abu Rasin (Zergan), north of Hasakah, witnessed, on Saturday evening, intense shelling by the Turkish forces and their backed armed opposition groups, amid launching flashbangs and the flight of Turkish drones.
A military source told North Press that the Turkish army and armed opposition groups launched, on Saturday evening, a violent offensive and shelling on several villages in the countryside of Abu Rasin.
He added that the bombing was concentrated on the villages of Dada Abdal, al-Nuwaihat, the farm of Haj Omar al-Boubi, Safa, and Umm Harmalah, west of Abu Rasin.
The source stated that the Turkish army launched flashbangs and used drones to bomb the area.
Shelling continues against the aforementioned and populated villages, amidst a state of panic and anticipation.
While no progress or retreat was observed in the front lines between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on the one hand and the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups on the other hand.
