Body of Iraqi refugee found in northeast Syria’s Hawl Camp

HAWL, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday morning, Internal Security Forces [Asayish] in Hawl Camp, east of Syria’s northeastern city of Hasakah, found the body of an Iraqi refugee, who had been shot by unknown persons.

Hawl Camp has frequent killings with silencers, and escape attempts by the families of the Islamic State (ISIS), as the camp witnessed similar cases during the past period.

Sources from inside Hawl Camp told North Press that unknown persons fired six shots at Iraqi refugee Hassan Ali Hammadi in the Third Sector of the camp.

According to the sources, the security forces transferred the body to the Red Crescent Medical Point, and began an investigation to find out the details of the accident.

Asayish found on Saturday, a body of a 20-year-old Iraqi refugee, who was fired in the head, the Iraqi refugee, who lived in the first sector with his wife and daughter, worked in the service department with the camp administration.

On November 21, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) found the body of an IDP from Deir ez-Zor countryside who was killed intentionally, according to a source inside the camp.
