Clashes caused deaths and injuries in Syria’s Tel Abyad (Gre-Spi)
TEL ABYAD (GRE-SPI), Syria (North Press) – Clashes erupted on Saturday, between residents of a village of Syria’s northern city of Tel Abyad (Gre-Spi) and a Turkish-backed armed opposition group so-called [Shamia Front].
Two young men were killed and two others were wounded, including a woman, as a result of clashes between residents of the village Tel Abyad Sharqi and Shamia Front.
A state of security chaos continues in Tel Abyad (Gre-Spi), north of Raqqa, amid the inability of the armed opposition groups to control security.
A source told North Press that the clashes took place between the Shamia Front and the al-Mashhour tribe, one of the area’s tribes.
The clashes occurred as a result of a dispute between the tribe, and a security leader in Shamia Front called “Abu Omar Shamia”, who was expelled to the city of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain), following a moral claim against him by the tribe.
The clashes took place with heavy weapons, in the city’s market, extending to the village of Tel Abyad al-Sharqi, which led to the killing of two young men and the wound of two other persons, including a woman, according to local sources.
