A civilian lost his life due to unidentified gunfire in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, a civilian from Shuhail town in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside lost his life as a result of unidentified gunfire.
Local sources told North Press that the civilian Ahmed Khaled al-Suleiman lost his life as a result of unidentified persons riding a motorcycle shot him on Sunday afternoon.
Al-Suleiman was from the village of Zubari on the southern bank of the Euphrates, which is controlled by the Syrian government forces (SAA) and Iranian militias.
The eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor is witnessing an increase in the activity of ISIS cells, including assassinations and the planting IEDs.
Meanwhile, the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces, in cooperation with the US-led global Coalition, continue their operations against ISIS in the region.
On Friday, a civilian from the city of Hawajij in the eastern countryside of Syria’s Deir ez-Zor, lost his life due to shooting by unknown men.
