Unidentified attack kills civil police official in Syria’s Bab

AZAZ, Syria (North Press) – An official from the civil police was killed on Wednesday due to an attack by unidentified armed men in the city of Bab, northwest Syria.

Opposition-held areas have been witnessing a state of security chaos accompanied by repeated bombardments in the light of the police and opposition groups’ inability to settle the security condition.

Armed men on a motorbike shot Hussein Jabali, an official in the civil police of the Syrian opposition groups, a local source told North Press.

The incident took place near a mosque in the city of Bab, killing Jabali instantly.

Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition groups have controlled Bab since 2017.
