Turkish forces continue withdrawing from northwestern Syria
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The Turkish forces continued its withdrawal from She Maghar military point in Shahshabo Mountain, northwestern Hama, northwestern Syria to the military point in the village of Qoqfin in Zawaiya Mountain, south of Idlib.
On Saturday, the Turkish forces took a new batch of logistical and military equipment out of the Eleventh Observation Point, western Hama, which is besieged by Syrian government forces, a military source of the National Front for Liberation stated.
The source noted to the arrival of about 50 vehicles including trucks loading military and logistical equipment to Qoqfin crossing the government-held village of Fleifel, southern Idlib.
The process of withdrawal coincided with intensive Russian raids on Saturday morning against the positions of the opposition armed groups in Sarja, Shenan, Farkiya, Binin, Ehsem, and Kafr Haya in Zawaiya Mounatin in the southern countryside of Idlib.
On November 4, Turkish forces evacuated the Tenth Observation point in the same region after completing dismantling operations.
Before that, they withdrew from the military point in Morek, Hama countryside.
The Eleventh Observation Point in She Maghar was established by Turkey in May 14, 2018 within the framework of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement signed in Sochi.
