Global Coalition announces the implementation of joint operations with SDF in northeastern Syria

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – The

Global Coalition spokesman announced, on Wednesday, that the Coalition to Defeat ISIS and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have carried out joint operations this week against the cells of the Islamic State (ISIS) in northeastern Syria.

The Coalition stressed that it would continue supporting the SDF. “The Coalition forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces have carried out joint operations against suspected ISIS terrorist networks in northeastern Syria,” Wayne Marotto, spokesman of the Global Coalition, posted on his Twitter.

He expressed that the Global Coalition will stand by the SDF in its continuous battle to achieve the defeat of ISIS in Syria.

On Tuesday, the official spokesman for the Global Coalition posted photos of American soldiers and Bradley combat vehicles in northeastern Syria, and said that they continue to patrol to provide security and stability in the region.

On Tuesday, the American forces conducted a patrol that departed from Qasirk base, south of Derbasiyah, through the city of Hasakah, to its base in the city of Shaddadi.

The patrol consisted of seven military vehicles, led by a minesweeper that went through the eastern Mahalq road in the city of Hasakah, heading towards the southern entrance to the city.
