Coronavirus update in AANES, 186 new infections and 11 recoveries

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) recorded 186 new cases of COVID-19 in its region on Thursday.

Jiwan Mustafa, co-chair of the AANES Health Board, explained that the cases are 87 males and 99 females, and they are distributed as follows: 72 in Dirk, 41 in Qamishli, 36 in Hasakah, 10 in Girke Lege, 9 in Amude, 6 in Derbasiya, 6 in Remailan, three in Shahba northern Aleppo, one in Jil Agha, one in Tirbespi,  and one in Hawl Camp.

The recovery of 11 cases were recorded in all regions of northeast Syria, according to Mustafa.

The Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced the recording of 216 new coronavirus infections and four deaths in its areas on Wednesday.

According to the new the statistics on new cases of coronavirus in the Autonomous Administration regions, the number of infections has risen to 4,350 of which 119 died and 704 recoveries.
