Delegation from Global Coalition visits Hajin in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor countryside
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – A delegation from Global Coalition Forces visited city of Hajin in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor region on Monday to learn about services and projects in the region.
The delegation’s tour included a visit to Hajin Hospital to see the progress of its restoration, where it expressed its support for service projects in the region.
The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria began the rehabilitation project of the city hospital Hajin after repeated demands from the residents of the area.
The Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) published a statement on its official website on Monday, referring to the efforts of the Global Coalition and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to improve local economic capacity in Shaddadi.
The statement said that from October 20-22, 14 regional companies met with the consultants of SDF and CJTF-OIR to communicate with vendors in order to register tenders for employment contracts for projects near Shaddadi.
“The number of vendors able to provide essential services such as coalition base infrastructure support has essentially doubled from the last meeting in March,” the statement said.
CJTF-OIR said in the statement that such events increase the likelihood of success of emerging Syrian businesses, contributing to financial stability and security in the region.
“It also allows the economy to recover and further deprives ISIS of any chance of re-emerging,” the statement said.
