Syria’s Autonomous Administration records 51 new coronavirus cases

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced on Tuesday the recording of 51 new coronavirus cases in its regions.

The Autonomous Administration Jiwan Mustafa, co-chair of the AANES Health Board, as stating that the new cases are 21 males and 30 females.

According to the Health Board, the new recorded infections are 14 in Qamishli, 11 in Derik, nine in Girke Lege, six in Hasakah, three in Rimelan, three in Jil Agha, two in Amuda, two in Derbasiya, and one in Tirbespi.  

The recovery of 15 cases were also recorded, according to Mustafa.

According to the new the statistics on new cases of coronavirus in the Autonomous Administration regions, the number of infections has risen to 1,497, of which 62 died and 417 recovered.
