SDF commander assassinated in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, unknown gunmen on a motorbike assassinated a commander in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the city of Busayrah in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

Informed sources reported to North Press that the SDF leader known as Abu Hommam was assassinated after masked men shot him and fled.

In related news, an IED exploded in front of a civilian house in the town of Sha`fah in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, with only material damage reported.
