Forty ISIS families moved to Roj camp, northeastern Syria
DERIK, Syria (North Press) – Two new batches of ISIS families arrived at Roj camp, north of Derik, Syria, coming from the Hawl camp east of the city of Hasakah.
“The first batch consisted of 20 families and included 53 persons including 33 children, while the second batch consisted of 20 families, 67 persons including 47 children,” Nora Abdo, an official in Roj camp, told North Press on Thursday.
Abdo said the first batch reached the camp on August 16, while the second arrived on September 2.
She pointed out that the families are of different foreign nationalities.
The total number of ISIS families that were moved from Hawl to Roj is 95 families – a total of 285 persons, according to Abdo.
On August 14, Roj camp received three batches that consisted of 58 families including 166 persons coming from Hawl camp.
