AZAZ, Syria (North Press) – Unknown individuals assassinated a member of the traffic police in the pro-Turkish Syrian Interim Government area on Wednesday on the outskirts of the city of Azaz in northwestern Syria.
Local sources reported to North Press that the policeman Khaled al-Saleh was shot after he left his shift at the Traffic Department.
Two days ago, a tent in the al-Tawhid IDP camp, east of Azaz, was attacked by four masked men, killing one of the attackers.
The region is witnessing security chaos, repeated assassinations, and fighting between Turkish-backed groups in addition to bombings that have killed and injured dozens since the beginning of this year.
