US military provides Trump administration with evidence of war crimes committed by Turkish groups

The United States military officials have sent evidence to the White House showing war crimes committed by Turkey's backed Syrian armed opposition groups while targeting civilians during their offensive in northeastern Syria.
The U.S. military considered that, the attacks were monitored by U.S. reconnaissance aircraft are evidence of war crimes committed by Turkey in Syria, the matter became a focal point of the debate within the Trump administration ahead of Turkish President Erdogan's visit to the White House on Wednesday, according to the Wall Street Journal.

According to U.S. officials, there are four documented cases of war crimes committed by Turkey's armed opposition groups, which raises fears of a deteriorating humanitarian situation, and committing more war crimes by Turkish-backed groups, if the United States doesn't do more to stop them, including records showing brutal field executions of detainees.  

The White House national security adviser Robert O'Brien said during a television interview on Sunday that, the United States had serious concerns which it would show to Turkey.  
In an interview with CBS on Sunday, the national security adviser said that, "We are deeply disturbed by Turkey's decision to buy a Russian system which could help Russian intelligence and threaten vital U.S. interests, so we will tell Turkey that, we will implement sanctions passed by a bipartisan majority in the Congress if Turkey doesn't "get rid of" the deal with Russia finally.

"There is no place for major military purchases from Russia in NATO, and this is what we will tell the Turkish president during his visit to Washington", he added.
For his part. U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Monday that, President Trump will discuss with the Turkish president on Wednesday a political solution to protect all Syrians.  
Answering journalists' questions in North Carolina, Pompeo said: "We are still working closely with the SDF, which consists of Kurdish, Arab and Christian fighters to confront the Islamic State. Our relations with the SDF is still wide, where we have State Department staff coordinating on the ground to continue the anti-ISIS campaign"
