To reduce the tragic events that target innocents, a deputy of the province of Nineveh, asked the Prime Minister and the competent authorities to intervene and protect the civilians in Tal Afar district, on Tuesday.
The deputy Lilian Mohamed Ali in a press conference held yesterday in the Council of Representatives of Iraq cleared that the number of “martyrs” exceeded two thousand since the displacement of the people from the region because of the war against ”ISIS”. “Now, after returning to their areas, they are facing a great problem of the explosive charges planted by ISIS”.
planting the explosive charges spread in large areas of the city, and inside houses, despite the continuing appeals by the residents to solve this problem, yet, “they fall on deaf ears,” she added.
The call of the deputy came after the killing of four people and the injury of two others on Monday in Tal Afar, because of the explosion of more than one exploded charges when they were harvesting their grain.
Furthermore, the deputy of Nineveh called on the Prime Minister Adel Abdulmahdi, to undertake direct intervention “and stop the bleeding of the innocent people in the city”.
