New statistics about Yazidis: more than 6000 kidnapped and 80 mass graves 

Yazidi Kidnapped Affairs office in Iraq announced a new statistic since August 3, 2014 about the number of kidnapped people.

Yazidi Rescue Office said in a statement on Monday that “Our statistics contain heinous crimes committed by IS against Yazidis from August 3, 2014 to June 3, 2019 and it is accredited by UN.” 

According to the office, population of Yazidis in Iraq was 550.000, while the number of displaced Yazidis in 2014 was about 360.000 refugees due to IS attack on Iraqi Sinjar. 

Kidnapped Affairs office mentioned that first days’ attack took a toll of  1293 deaths in August 3, 2014. 

Besides, the number of orphans reached 2745 children since the attack, including 1759 fatherless, 407 motherless and 359 both, as well as parents of 220 orphans are in the hands of IS, according to Yazidi Rescue Office.  

The office also pointed out that number of mass graves found in Sinjar till now is 80 in addition to dozens of individual graves. 
Concerning religious shrines bombed by IS, it reached 68 ones, according to new statistic. 

In addition, about 100.000 Yazidis emigrated out of Iraq. 

New statistic confirmed that number of kidnapped Yazidis reached to 6417 including 3548 females and 2869 males. 
While the survivors are 3476 Yazidis including 1184 females and 337 males.
