Assassinations of Former Militants of Factions Reconciled with the Government

The southern governorate of Dara’a witnesses ongoing assassinations by militants were activated after the end of the armed opposition factions control over the governoratee.
North Press observed the assassination of a former fighter of a faction operate in Dara’a by unidentified gunmen, while he was moving with another person by car.
The assassination took place in Dara’a Al-Balad area, in Daraa city, through shooting the car of the former fighter, who was recently fighting with the Syrian government forces after a reconciliation, which was the reason behind his kill and the injury of his companion.
It is noteworthy, that Dara’a governorate and the related areas from the south of Syria, have been witnessing assassinations operations for months, carried out by unidentified parties, some of whom called themselves “popular resistance”, who threatened to assassinate the fighters and leaders and figures who had reconciled with the Syrian government.
