Attack of IS Cells on Government Forces in East Palmyra

Three elements of the Syrian government forces were killed by the “Islamic State” (IS) east of Palmyra in the eastern part of Homs governorate.

The elements of the organization ambushed a patrol of government forces near the area of Maysila in the Syrian desert (Badia)  east Palmyra.

Targeting killed three people, wounded and captured others, according to Syrian opposition sources.

These attacks were carried out by the cells of the “Islamic State” within the Syrian desert targeting government forces and pro-Syrian government forces, with the decline in the numbers of the organization in a geographical area of Badia.
