Russian experimental drones to be used in the Syrian war

Russia uses various types of drones, where some of them are experimental models, in the military campaign in the northern regions of Syria, while shelling in demilitarized zones by the Syrian and Russian warplanes continues. 

Russian forces involved in the Syrian war have used various types of weapons and military equipment, including drones, Russian media reported. 

It’s reported that Russia had benefited from the war in Syria by using experimental models of its drones that it’s made.  

The most widely used drone is “Allron-3 SV”, which is a small-size, close-range drone provided by an electric motor that can carry out scouting and surveillance missions for more than one and a half an hour.  

Another small-size drone called “Tachyon” is being used that can carry out surveillance and target determining missions and its sortie can last up to 2 hours.  

The “Orlan-10” is also used, which is a large-size and medium-range drone, there’s also “Furopost”, one of the heavy drones which are capable of carrying 100kg of equipment. 

According to a Russian newspaper, “Orion” drones bombed the strongholds of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham previously known as Al-Nusra Front, in Hama governorate during the past months.

  
On the other hand, dozens of raids were carried out by the Syrian government fighter-jets this morning, which targeted areas of Sheikh Mustafa, Me’aret Horma, Hazzarin, Ma’ar Hattat surroundings, Jabal Al-Arba’in, Kafar Sajna and Al-Naqir in the southern countryside of Idlib, Az-Zerba village in the southern countryside of Aleppo, Kebbana surroundings in Jabal Al-Akrad, and Abu Raida village in northern countryside of Hama. 

While the Russian warplanes targeted by dozens of raids last mid-night the areas of Hasraya, Kafr Zita, Al-Jabin village in the northwestern countryside of Hama, Taftnaz military base eastern Idlib and Al-Neqeir, Abdeen, Khan Sheikhoun surroundings and Al-Habeet in the southern countryside of Idlib.
  
While the areas of Tal Melleh, Al-Jabin, Morek, Kafr Zita, As-Sakher, Al-Jisat, Al-Hweijah and Al-Arimah in north and northwestern countryside of Hama, and Al-Neqeir in the southern countryside of Idlib were targeted by more than 200 rocket shells during the last 12 hours.
