A large fire broke out in yesterday afternoon in the agricultural fields of western countryside of Kobani, northern Syria, after the Turkish military fired at an SDF border guards point by heavy gun.
A Special source told “North-Press” that Turkish army shot with a heavy gun at SDF border guards point in the western countryside of Kobani, causing fires in the nearby fields. The source added that members of Self-Defense Forces intervened to contribute to the extinguishing of those fires.
In Tuesday midnight, the Turkish military fired at an SDF border guards point in the western countryside of Sari Kani/Ras Al-Ayn in northern Hasakah, no injuries were reported.
Some SDF border guards’ points are joint by the US-led Global Coalition forces, for monitoring the border with Turkey in the north and eastern region of Syria.
Earlier on Sunday, two Syrian-Kurdish farmers were shot by the Turkish border guards while harvesting their planted fields in Derik, northeast of Syria.
