Counter-Terrorism Units Arrest an ISIS Sleeper Cell member in Raqqa

Counter-terrorism Units (HAT) of the Internal Security Forces in the Autonomous Administration in North and Eastern Syria, had managed to capture an Islamic State’s sleeper cell in al-Tayyar neighborhood in the city of Raqqa.
Special sources told North-Press that an ISIS sleeper cell militant, of Syrian nationality, was arrested today in a security operation conducted by the Counter-Terrorism forces.
The sources added that during the security operation many weapons and ammunition were found and seized in addition to equipment for processing explosives.
While Earlier on June 14, Counter-terrorism forces, in cooperation with the Global Coalition to defeat ISIS, have managed in a joint operation to arrest an ISIS sleeper cell which was related to the bombings in the city, which included seven members of Syrian nationality.
The city of Raqqa has recently witnessed several bombings and explosions causing death to civilians and military members as well.
