Soughana village in Afrin under the bombardment of Turkey and its armed opposition groups

The village of Soughana of Sherawa district in Afrin region, north of Syria, is being shelled by pro-Turkish Syrian opposition groups with dozens of shells, causing damage to residential areas.
According to special sources told North-Press that the group of “al-Hamzat Division” stationed in Kimar village in the area of Sherawa is targeting the village now, pointing out that more than (25) shells targeted the houses of the people without casualties, in coincidence with the Turkish Air Force soaring over the village.
The source added that al-Hamzat group is targeting the village with a tank, as the bombardment is still ongoing until the moment of preparation of the news.
The village of Soughana is almost under daily bombardment by Turkey and its opposition groups.
Moreover, on July 27, the same group shelled the village with several shells, causing destruction of some houses.
Last February, he village was also bombed, upon which four people were injured, in addition to burning agricultural crops and olive trees in the village.
Turkey and its armed opposition groups took control of the Afrin region on March 18 of last year, after nearly two months of fighting against the People’s Protection Units (YPG), without managing to take control of some villages in Sherawa district, which are targeted to daily bombardment.
