Dozens of educational facilities been destroyed in recent intensified shelling on Idlib

Syria Response Coordinators Team (a relief statistical team) has published a statistical report regarding the targeted schools and educational facilities, during the recent military escalation in the governorates of Idlib and Hama, since the beginning of this year 2019.

The humanitarian, relief and war statistics team has revealed that more than 113 educational facilities had been targeted since January 5, 2019, until August 22.

Moreover, the team pointed out that the rate of the damage ranges from 5%  to the complete discontinuation of service. The statistics were attached with the number of students who were affected by displacement or destruction of facilities, as numbered 191233 male and female students.

A few days ago, Syria Response Coordinators Team also published statistics regarding the killed and displaced people within the de-escalation zones, in northwestern Syria.

As the number of deaths since the breach of the ceasefire by the Syrian and Russian forces, has risen up to more than 85 people, including 24 children, in Idlib and Hama governorates.

During the period between 11 and 19 August, the number of IDPs has reached more than 141,193, while more than 869,992 people have been displaced since early February this year.
