The de-escalations zones in northwestern Syria have witnessed violations by the Syrian government forces regarding the ongoing ceasefire truce by ground bombardments.
On Sunday morning, the Syrian army targeted areas in the towns of Telmens, Jirnaz, Deir al-Sharqi and Maarshamarin in southern Idlib countryside, with no reports regarding casualties.
While local activists on the ground posted on social media pages that after midnight the Syrian government forces had targeted areas of Kabanah in north-eastern Latakia countryside, and areas of Umm Jalal, al-Teh, al-Ghudfa and Kafr Sajna in southern Idlib.
The Syrian army also targeted areas in Jabal Shahshabo and al-Ghab plain in northwestern parts of Hama governorate.
The ground bombardment caused further damage to the infrastructure, accompanied by fears of resuming the military operations, according to local media sources.
These concept followed the mobilization of the Syrian military reinforcements to the western suburbs of Aleppo a few days ago, despite the calmness that took place after the latest military advances and the control over Khan Sheikhoun and the surrounding areas in southeastern Idlib and northern Hama countryside.
