Clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Turkish-backed Syrian armed opposition groups continue in Arisha village, 20km southeast of Ras al-Ain / Sere-Kaniye city, which has become almost empty of its residents as a result of violent military operations.

The clashes and shelling are concentrated in three axes of the village, especially from the villages of Salihiya and Arisha farms, Soda and the channel of Khabour River, in an attempt by armed opposition groups to besiege the village.

The SDF fighters pointed out that the clashes sometimes continue for nine hours, stressing that the armed opposition militias continue to violate the agreement in the north and west axis of Tal Tamr town, west of Hasakah.

Moreover, clashes and artillery shelling continue on the villages of al-Daoudiya and al-Aziziya, which are controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces, especially from the village of al-Jamiliya, which is controlled by the armed opposition groups, who advanced over the past two days in the north and northwestern axis of Tal Tamr, in the villages of Salihiya and al-Musherfa farms, amid the flight of Turkish aircraft in the area.

On the other hand, the Syrian government forces were redeployed in the area, after they withdrew two days ago in the western axis of the town of Tal Tamr, in the villages of Lailan, Alya and Um al-Arbain, and the village of Um al-Kaif north of Tal Tamr.

Regarding the situation in the village of al-Aziziya of Tal Tamr, Kawa Ali, a local armed man  from the city of Ras al-Ain / Sere-Kaniye, who joined the fighting with the SDF after the Turkish attack on the region, said that the Turkish-backed opposition groups are targeting the village with mortars.

While another one from Ras al-Ain / Sere-Kaniye, Azad Shekho, noted that the clashes between them and the opposition groups in the village of al-Aziziya are currently stopped, pointing out that the latter is preparing to attack the village.

Shekho confirmed that Turkish aircraft shelled Ras al-Ain / Sere-Kaniye hospital, killing many civilians and fighters. He said that phosphorus was likely used by Turkey in bombing Ras al-Ain / Sere-Kaniye city.

He added strange injuries were shown on the bodies of people who were affected by the shelling, indicating that the materials were exploding in the sky, about 100 meters from the ground, causing abnormal injuries.

In turn, Marwan, the leader of the military groups in the village of Arisha, who responded to attacks by opposition armed groups since 8 days, said that the opposition groups launched three attacks on the village of Ali Shara in the countryside of Tal Tamr, where clashes between the two sides lasted more than nine hours.

Marwan stressed that the Turkish-backed armed opposition groups are trying to besiege the village of Arisha, noting that no clashes have been occurred in the past two days.
