Renewed clashes between Russian forces and armed opposition east of Idlib

Military sources close to the Syrian opposition groups told North-Press that, the axis of the village of Ijaz,Iajaz, east of Idlib has witnessed clashes between the National Front for Liberation and the Russian Special Forces, which led to a number of deaths and injuries among the two sides. As this axis witnesses mutual attacks by both sides from time to time, where each side aims to progress at the expense of the other, according to the source.
At the same time, the Syrian warplanes targeted several air raids Zeizoun power station in al-Ghab Plain, in its first participation in more than a month and a half. Also, Russian and Syrian warplanes targeted on Monday Zeizoun thermal station in al-Ghab Plain northwest countryside of Hama, the villages of al-Kfeir and Sheikh Sendian, the area of al-Bashiriya, the vicinity of sugar factory and al-Janoudiya in Jisr al-Shughour countryside, west of Idlib.
While in the southern countryside of Idlib, the Russian warplanes targeted several with airstrikes the towns of Ma'arat Harmah, Jabala, Ma'arzeita, Kafar Sajnah and Arinba village.
The aerial bombardment coincided with artillery and rocket shelling targeting the mentioned areas, and the city of Kafr-Nabl and the towns of Hass and Heish by the Syrian government forces.
While artillery and rocket shelling of the government forces affected the villages of al-Hweija, al-Hawash and al-Amqiya, and the perimeter of the Turkish point in Jabal Shahshabo area, northwest of Hama.
In the same context, Syrian government helicopters targeted the axes of Kabenah in al-Akrad Mountain, in northeastern countryside of Latakia with barrel bombs, preceded by an attempt to advance by the Syrian government forces with the support of the Russian aerial bombardment.
While the armed opposition groups announced it has failed in the attempt to advance, and inflicted casualties among the government forces, and damaging a tank after being targeted by a missile shot by the National Front for Liberation.
