Turkish-backed armed groups attempt to advance into Tal Tamer

Heavy clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF and the Turkish military and Turkish-backed Syrian armed opposition groups on the axes in northern Tal Tamer countryside in northwest of Hasakah governorate. North-Press reported the violent clashes that centered in Al-Manakh village, Tal Tamir countryside, accompanied by intensive shelling by the Turkish military and its affiliated armed groups.
The shelling targeted the villages of Umm al-Kaif, Rashidiya, al-Qasimiya, and Rihaniya, and other areas linking them with other villages in the countryside of Tal Tamer and Abu Rasin (Zargan), in an attempt by Turkey’s armed groups to advance in the area and control more lands.
The shelling caused casualties, including a member of local media staff, while the military operations continue despite the alleged agreement between the Russian and Turkish sides.
Local sources from the city of Ras al-Ain (Sere-Kaniye), confirmed a few days ago that the armed opposition groups are seizing the houses of love civilians, especially the Kurds in the city, where each group controls over a neighborhood in their favor, while preventing the other groups from entering.
The same source said that the armed opposition groups have arrested people from the village of al-Duwaira, who demonstrated and demanded the return of their agricultural equipment and tools that were stolen by those armed opposition groups. However the armed groups dispersed the demonstration by live shot guns.
The source also indicated that the armed forces groups arrested a number of locals of the village of Tal Halaf, who were preparing to head to a nearby Turkish observation post in order to submit a complaint to recover their stolen tools by those armed groups.
