Military operations are continuing in areas in Tal Tamr countryside, northwest of Hasakah, as a result of continued attacks by the Turkish military and the affiliated Syrian armed opposition groups, mostly Islamist militias under umbrella name of the National Army, with the support of Turkish drones.

North-Press reporter briefed on the bombardment operations by Turkish drones on the village of Tal Manakh, in the countryside of Tal Tamr, amid fierce clashes on the ground between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian government forces on one hand, and the Turkish military and Turkish-backed armed opposition groups on the other hand.

The clashes led to an advance in the area by the SDF and the Syrian forces, enabling them to control the village of Tal Manakh, while a member of the Syrian government forces lost his life and another was seriously injured.

In addition, the villages of Daoudia, Arisha, and Tal Tawil, which is predominantly Assyrian, and the surrounding farms and hills, were shelled by Turkey’s armed groups with artillery and tanks shells, causing serious damage to the properties of civilians.

Meanwhile, North-Press reporter briefed that Turkish reconnaissance aircraft continued to fly over the areas of Tal Tamr and Abu Rasin (Zargan), as military sources confirmed that the armed opposition groups continue to rob and loot civilian properties in several villages in Tal Tamr countryside after they had managed to enter these villages.
