Heavy battles took place between the armed opposition groups and the Syrian and Russian forces continue in an attempt by the latter to station in the recently restored areas of Idlib.
On Saturday morning, Russian fighter jets carried out raids on the towns of Arbina in Shashabo Mountain and Maarat Harma in Idlib southern countryside, after an overnight calmness in the de-escalation zones.
The Syrian fighter jets also targeted the vicinity of Kafr Nabl town by barrel bombs, and shelled areas in al-Tah, Tahtaya, Um Jalal, Musherfa and Tal Dam in Idlib countryside, without any information on casualties.
Meanwhile, Tal Khazna axis in Idlib southeastern countryside is undergoing heavy clashes between the armed opposition groups and the Syrian forces, after they took control over the town two days ago.
Tal Dam axis in eastern Maaret al-Numan in Idlib southern countryside has witnessed fierce clashes this morning in an attempted advance by the Syrian forces.
While the armed groups targeted yesterday evening the town of Jorin in Hama northwestern countryside with a number of shells without information on casualties.
Earlier on Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters at the 11th BRICS summit in the Brazilian capital: "We still have a lot of work to do in Idlib, where there are a large number of armed men fleeing to other countries, including Libya".
He pointed out that his country has taken control of 90% of Syrian territories, then handed them over to the Syrian forces, explaining that this is their goal and it has been achieved, and that Russia has carried out all its tasks in Syria.
