Turkey sending bulletproof mobile guard cabins into Idlib

The Turkish army has sent bulletproof guard cabins into the Syrian territories on Tuesday. Ten trucks loaded with cabins set off from the Turkish town of Reyhanli into the Turkish observation posts in Idlib region, where the entry of the trucks accompanied by strict security procedures.

 

Turkey is going on sending military reinforcements into Syria since Monday, after a Turkish observation post was attacked by the Syrian government forces, which resulted in the killing of 8 Turkish soldiers and injuring others, according to the Turkish Ministry of Defense. 

 

Earlier, the Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu had said that, "Turkey cannot remain passive in the face of the attacks targeting our forces in Idlib,” noting that his country has responded, "will continue responding if the attacks are repeated.”

 

The Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister said that Ankara is sending military reinforcements into its observation posts in north-west of Syria, noting that his country has informed Moscow about its movements there.
