Disappearance of young man amid mysterious circumstances in Nubl

A week ago, a young man from the region of Afrin, northwest of Syria was disappeared in the town of Nubl, northwest of Aleppo, where his fate remains unknown.

 

Local sources told North-Press that ‘Fuad Rashid Mustafa’ from the district of Bulbul in Afrin region has disappeared a week ago in the town of Nubl, where two people from the town asked him to work as a porter for several hours, after which his news were interrupted.

Fouad's wife, Rocan Hussein Sido, told North-Press that her husband called her the day he disappeared around 10 p.m., and told her that “he was in the town of Nubl, then the connection was interrupted and his phone was out of coverage.”

 

Fouad works in a bakery in the town of Nubl and lives near the entrance to the town.

 

On March 18, 2018, some of the indigenous people of Afrin, amid the Turkish offensive on the region, took refuge in the towns of Nubl and Zahraa in the northwest countryside of Aleppo.
