The U.S. forces in northeastern Syria conducted today on Thursday a military patrol in the neighborhoods of the city of Hasakah in northeastern Syria, in support of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Internal Security Forces (Asayish).
The U.S. soldiers accompanying the patrol told North-Press that the patrol came within the framework of their regular tours "to support the security forces," in reference to the SDF and the Internal Security Forces to stabilize the region, as they said.
The U.S. military patrol, which started in the morning from the Global Coalition base in the town of Al-Shaddadi, 30 km south of Hasakah, consisted of 6 armored vehicles and minesweepers.
The United States forces in northeastern Syria have been conducting several military patrols in the region after their decision of withdrawal from the bordering areas with Turkey in October last year.
