Turkish reinforcements and new observation post in Idlib’s de-escalation zone

The Turkish forces continue to bring reinforcements to the de-escalation zone in Idlib province in northwest of Syria. On Wednesday, they brought a military convoy, consisting of dozens of military vehicles, to the area, and established a new observation post there.
A Turkish convoy consisting of 35 military vehicles, troop carriers, military and logistical equipment entered via the Kafr-Losin border point, where it headed towards the de-escalation zone in northwestern Syria.
With the increased number of the Turkish reinforcements that have entered the region, Turkish forces set up a new military post in the city of Arihah, south of Idlib, on Wednesday.
A field source in Idlib told North-Press that on Tuesday, a Turkish military convoy consisting of dozens of military vehicles and trucks loaded with concrete barriers entered via the Kafr-Losin border point with the Liwa Iskenderun (Turkish province of Hatay) and headed towards the Turkish observation posts in Mount (Jabal) al-Arbaeen, south of the city of Arihah in the southern countryside of Idlib province.
On Monday, the Turkish forces established a new observation post in the al-Bernas area in western Idlib countryside, while last Sunday, they established three observation posts in the areas of Zainiyah and Bukassria near Jisr al-Shughur and al-Farika in the western Idlib countryside.
With this convoy, the number of vehicles that have entered Syria since the start of the new ceasefire has increased to 2,375, in addition to thousands of soldiers, and the number of Turkish observation posts increased to 57 since last February, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
