On Wednesday, an Israeli aircraft targeted a car close to the Syrian-Lebanese border. The damage was limited to material.

The Syrian official news agency SANA reported that an Israeli plane targeted a civilian car in the area of Jdeidet al-Yabous, near the al-Masnaa crossing on the Syrian-Lebanese border, and its damage was limited to material.

For its part, the U.K.-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, "An Israeli military drone targeted a military SUV at the Jdeidet al-Yabous crossing, located on the Syrian-Lebanese border."

Security sources reported to Russia Today that an Israeli military drone targeted a car at the Lebanese-Syrian border, noting that the targeted car may have belonged to a member of Hezbollah.

The sources added that the information indicates that the car was targeted with two missiles, the first of which missed the target, allowing its passengers to exit moments before it was hit by the second missile.
