The Global Coalition forces, in cooperation with the SDF, conduct artillery shelling in Deir ez-Zor countryside

Yesterday, on Wednesday, the U.S.-led Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, in cooperation with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), conducted artillery shelling near the village of Jdeidat al-Agidat in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, in northeastern Syria. 

 
Military sources stated to North Press that the Global Coalition forces in cooperation with the SDF paraded, on Wednesday, by launching artillery shelling, in confirmation of their commitment to the partnership with the SDF and combating the Islamic State terrorist groups (ISIS).

 
In a joint press conference held with the SDF Media Office at the U.S. military base in the Remeilan town on March 6, the spokesperson of the Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) Col. Myles B. Caggins, confirmed that the Global Coalition continues to support the SDF in northeastern Syria, until the total elimination of ISIS and prevailing security and stability in the region.

 
Col. Caggins stated that they continue carrying out specific operations with the SDF forces against ISIS sleeper cells and that they will continue supporting these forces in their endeavors in prevailing stability, security, and peace in the region.

During the past two days, the SDF captured 4 members of ISIS sleeper cells in Deir ez-Zor in two security operations with air support by the Global Coalition.
