On Sunday, Turkish forces established a new military observation post in the southern countryside of Idlib province amid intense bombardment by Syrian government forces targeting the countryside of Idlib.

A field source told North-Press that Turkish forces were deployed in the village of Bassames in Mount (Jabal) al-Zawiya in the southern Idlib countryside to set up a new military observation post.

Earlier today, a Turkish convoy consisting of dozens of military and logistical vehicles entered Syrian territory via the Kafr-Lossin border point and headed towards the Turkish observation post in the de-escalation zones in the north-west of Syria.

This comes while the Syrian government forces continue to bombard, since yesterday, Saturday until Sunday, several areas in al-Fatira, Kansafra, Sufouhan, al-Barah, and Arenba in Jabal al-Zawiya, and Afes and al-Talhya areas in the eastern Idlib countryside.

The ceasefire agreement between Moscow and Ankara on the 5th of last March entered its 45th day in a row.
