On Wednesday, Turkish forces brought in a military convoy to the de-escalation zones in northwestern Syria.
A field source told North-Press that a Turkish convoy of dozens of military vehicles entered Syrian territory via the Kafr-Lossin border point in northern Idlib governorate and headed towards the Turkish observation posts in the de-escalation zones.
Earlier, Turkish forces brought in a military convoy on the 17th of this month via the Kafr-Lossin border point towards the Syrian interior, which included dozens of tanks and armored vehicles.
A Turkish convoy of dozens of military vehicles and heavy weaponry entered, on the 14th of this month, via the same border point towards Turkish military bases in the Idlib countryside.
This brings the number of Turkish vehicles that entered Syrian territories since the start of the new ceasefire to 2,775, in addition to thousands of soldiers, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
This comes while the Syrian government forces continue to bombard areas in Mount (Jabal) al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, while on Tuesday Turkish-backed armed opposition groups targeted positions of the Russian forces in the al-Ghab Plain in the western countryside of Hama.
A field source told North-Press that Syrian government forces continue to bombard the areas of al-Fatira, Sufuhan, Kansafra, and al-Barah in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern Idlib countryside.
In turn, Turkish-backed armed opposition groups targeted Syrian government forces' positions with artillery shelling in Kafrmous in the Shahshabo Mountain.
Yesterday, on Tuesday, several positions of the Russian forces in the al-Sermaniya area in the al-Ghab Plain were bombed by Turkish-backed armed opposition groups, amid flights of Russian warplanes and reconnaissance aircraft over the southern countryside of Idlib.
The ceasefire agreement in the de-escalation zones in northwestern Syria entered its 48th day in light of the repeated violations that occurred last week, which are continuing.
