The de-escalation zones in northwestern Syria are witnessing a cautious calm and the absence of Russian and Syrian warplanes or the Turkish military drones, interspersed by artillery bombardment by Syrian government forces on areas in Mount (Jabal) al-Zawiya in Idlib's southern countryside.

A field source in Idlib said to North-Press: “The Syrian government forces targeted, at dawn on Thursday, the areas of al-Fatira, Flaifel, al-Barah, Kafr Nabl, Qoqfin and Kansafra in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib province.

Meanwhile, Russian reconnaissance aircraft continue to fly in the airspace of the de-escalation zones in northwestern Syria.

Yesterday, Wednesday, Syrian government forces targeted the Kafr Amma and Kafr Taal areas of the western countryside of Aleppo with rocket launchers.
The ceasefire agreement in the de-escalation zones between Russia and Turkey entered its 56th day in a row, amid repeated violations in the region.
