A North-Press reporter observed a major explosion in the town of Nubl in the northern countryside of Aleppo, which led to the deaths of four people, including women and children, in addition to the injury of more than ten others and the destruction of a number of the town’s homes.
Local sources told North-Press that an explosion took place in a gas canister warehouse in the town, killing and injuring civilians and damaging surrounding houses.
It has not been determined yet whether the incident was caused by a canister explosion in a gas warehouse, or whether the explosion in the town, where pro-Iranian forces are present, was deliberate.
Earlier on Friday, a Syrian government armory exploded east of the city of Homs, resulting in the injury of ten civilians in addition to material damage to the surrounding area.
The official Syrian government news agency SANA quoted Homs governor Talal al-Barazi as saying: "One of the military facilities has come under attack in eastern Homs. The incident has led to explosions and caused plumes of black smoke…as a result, several passersby were injured."
In a related context, on the night of Thursday-Friday, Israeli helicopters bombed from the Golan airspace locations in the southern region with several missiles, and damage was limited to material.
