Violent clashes took place on Saturday between members of the Levant Front and members of the Hamza Division in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo.

The reason for the fighting between the two armed groups at the al-Sukaria crossing in the al-Bab area in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo was due to the confiscation process by the Levant Front of smuggled goods  that were to enter areas controlled by Syrian government forces, along with members of the Hamza Division, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Earlier, on Friday, clashes in the city of Jarablus took place between Military Police in the city and an armed group of locals from Deir ez-Zor belonging to Ahrar al-Sharqiya, which led to the death of one member and the injury of others from the latter group.
