On Sunday, Syrian government forces attempted to regain control of their positions in the al-Ghab Plain, and armed opposition groups repelled the attacks amid violent clashes and mutual shelling.

Armed opposition groups thwarted the attempted advance of Syrian government forces in the village of Tanjra, regained control of it and several of its sites in al-Ghab Plain in the northern countryside of Hama.

Syrian government forces continue to intensively shell the areas of al-Ankawi, al-Qahera, Kansafra, Qlidin, and Kafr Aweed in Hama's northern and Idlib's southern countrysides.

On Sunday morning, armed groups from the Rouse the Believers Operations Room (a coalition of Salafist insurgent groups in northwestern Syria involved in the Syrian Civil War) took control, after violent clashes, over the village of Tanjara and three Syrian government military points in al-Ghab Plain in the northwestern countryside of Hama.
