SDF and Global Coalition operation against ISIS cells in Deir ez-Zor

In an operation in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor on Sunday, with a support of Global Coalition forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested a number of ISIS members and leaders in possession of arms and military equipment.  

A military source from the SDF who preferred not to be named stated that the operation resulted in the arrest of a number of members and leaders of ISIS sleeper cells, who owned weapons and military equipment.  

Last Saturday, the SDF arrested numerous ISIS sleeper agents in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, where the area is witnessing increasing activity of ISIS cells in the recent period.
